Charmed by the Charmer

Sometimes people hesitate to disclose good news when there's still a horizon of uncertainty. We fall into that category. But now, it's a pretty sure bet. We're going to buy the Charmer! Here's a little tour of the place.

Yes, the goal is nailed onto a tree trunk.

We've still got a few weeks and lots of paperwork to go before it's a done deal. We'll close the third week of October, right after our 10-year high school reunion. October is going to be crazy, but by November, we will be ready to roll out the red carpet for visitors. Start making your travel plans.

This is super exciting! Congratulations and welcome to the crazy world of homeownership. Looks like you found a really beautiful place.

Thanks, all!

Yes, u/b, I was also surprised to see him sink that shot. You know, today he even made coffee. There's more than man than meets the eye. Just like a transformer, but with bigger sideburns.

U/B, when Larry Bird died, all his powers went to me. Yes I know, that is confusing on many levels.

2nd, try to imagine the house without that ridiculous tree explosion to the right of the door. That thing needs either some serious trimming or outright death.

3rd, who's with me, the basketball goal nailed to a tree in the backyard must come down. Even though I have never missed a shot on that goal (that's true, I'm a perfect 1 for 1) I think it has got to go.

in response to the Ramblin' Danno:

1- uhm ... did you also get Mr Bird's awesome wardrobe ( http://www.sikids.com/photos/16411/rare-photos-of-larry-bird/1 ) , or inspirational numerology (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2198534)

2- tree explosion? i think this might be a major style opportunity ... dress the shrubbery to celebrate upcoming "holidays": Groundhog Day, President's Day, Cinco De Mayo, Yom Kippur, Gudi Padwa ... and the High Holy Arbor Day

3- DOWN with the basketball goal ... let's set up a Jai Alai court

u/b, how did you even find those links? Do you have a cache of these for the winter?

Also, I'm lobbying for the goal to stay up. I know some people, those who appreciate the finer things in life, who would rather enjoy a late night game of Andre-induced basketball.

It's beautiful! What a great kitchen.

Daniel, I'm with you on the tree explosion. I didn't even realize it was a tree from the picture; it looked like some kind of climbing shrub thing.

It's nice you inherited Dad's trimming gene.
